Working as a nude model: TFP, fees and how you start
Work as a nude model without being forced into an agency: the difference between TFP and a paid shoot, typical fees, image rights. Only adult models.

What a nude model is, soberly: you stand in front of a still camera, limits stand beforehand, use of the images stands in the contract. No catwalk. No “bring your mother”. No TFP that is later sold as a buyout.
TFP shoot and paid shoot
TFP means Time for Print: you give time, the photographer gives images for your own use. A TFP shoot is an exchange, not a hidden fee. The meaning of a TFP shoot ends where someone licenses the images to third parties without that standing in writing. A TFP shoot contract or at least a short usage agreement belongs with it — otherwise it is not TFP, it is a gap.
Paid shoots are calculated by day and right. Orientation: regional erotic and nude stills often in the low to mid three-figure range; campaigns with a wide buyout higher. Nude model pay is not a tariff, it is negotiation plus written form. Anyone who also sells their own series separates project and platform rights.
Image rights before the shutter falls
Who may publish where? Web, print, platform, ads? How long? With or without facial recognition? That stands before the set, not in a message three weeks later. A TFP model contract and a paid contract differ in price, not in the duty of clarity.
Recognising serious photographers
References you can check. No pressure to open limits afterwards. No shoot in a private flat without a team you can follow if that makes you uncomfortable. No enquiry to minors. Anyone who says “first without a contract, we know each other” does not know the craft — or knows it too well.
Start without experience
Working as a nude model without experience works if the limits are tight and the first set stays small. A finished book is not the entrance. Reliability and a clear ability to say no are.
